Elvish Wars - Chapter One - The Beginning

In the beginning there were four Elves. Spark, Niam, Elk and Dant. Each was bestowed with a supernatural gift. Niam, the eldest one and the first female, was given the power of great wisdom. Spark, the practical thinker, was blessed with magical abilities. Dant, the great strategist, had cunning for his virtue, and finally Elk, the youngest, was given extreme martial strength. Together, these four Elves shaped the world. They created the race that was modeled on themselves. For six years, they lived happily as the rulers of Ibontea, the land from whenst they came. Until one day, there a great argument between Elk and Dant and they became very spiteful towards each other. Dant thought, seeing as they had created the race, Elves should be their slaves. Elk was highly against this, and he fought bitterly with Dant for two months. Then one night, Dant decided that he had shared power long enough. He arranged for Elk to be kidnapped by his loyal bodyguards and he had Spark locked away in a icy dungeon that was magic draining. Finally, he battled his older sister Niam, who he knew would never allow herself to be caught.  Wielding his magnificent spear, he finally defeated her on the desert plains and Dant strapped her soul inside a crystal.
Assuming that all his siblings were dealt with, he took over as emperor of Ibontea. But, Dant did not realise that Elk was far stronger than he looked. He had escaped the guards and went into hiding in the great mountain of Arcon. He observed Dant’s evil rule from afar, and eventually he came up with a solution. He built a temple out there on the freezing mountain, and he trained young elves in all the ways of battle he knew. He assembled his own private army, to one day take back what is rightfully theirs. . .
